Tanya’s passion for recovery largely came from her support of The Herren Project. After hearing former NBA player, Chris Herren speak about his recovery at her local high school in 2013, she decided to help raise funds for treatment navigation by running her first every 5k. In addition, she has served on the Board of Westford Against Substance Abuse from 2017 to present.

  1. Ms. Coimbra has worked with the Megan House Foundation on numerous occasions hosting fundraising events to bring awareness to the organization in honor of her younger cousin McKenzie.
  2. The rebrand comes after a year of interviewing staff and community partners and bringing in a third-party agency to help develop the brand.
  3. A lifelong Lowell resident, Cheryl Sheridan, is the Director of Oncology Data & Accreditation at Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare.
  4. At 21 years old, Robert was one of the youngest elected officials in the city’s history.
  5. She received her LMHC in 2012 and in 2015 became the Clinical Director at The Megan House working with young women who suffer from substance use disorder.

She has donated her time and energy to many local non-profit organizations. She currently serves as a Corporator for The Savings Bank, based in Wakefield. She also served as PTO Treasurer in the Andover Public Schools and volunteered as a CCD teacher at St. Augustine Church. Sue is currently the Vice-President of Finance for Water Analytics, a local manufacturer located in Andover. Sue started her business career at Price Waterhouse Coopers in their Boston office. From there she joined United Asset Management Corporation last serving as Vice-President.

Residents participate in the development and implementation of an Individual Service Plan, setting goals to achieve prior to transitioning to independent living. Sober living homes in Massachusetts are certified by MASH, the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing. During this time Martha devoted herself to volunteering in the Andover School System as the PTO President, where she raised awareness for cultural diversity in the classroom. In addition, Martha was a member of the Andona Society and is an advocate for the Monastery of Poor Claire. For the past 14 years, she has worked in the field of Special Education at Wood Hill Middle School. He is currently a retained consultant as Vice President of Business Development for Visual Clinic. Visual Clinic is a Massachusetts based Company specializing in LEAN methodologies and products for Hospitals, Surgical Centers and Physician practices. Previous to Visual Clinic Dan was Vice President of Global Sales and Corporate Development atAMD Global Telemedicine Inc. (AMD).

Overview Answer House

She continued to grow in her career at Megan’s House and took on the role of Family Counselor, working with residents and their supports to rebuild trust and promote healthy communication. In the fall of 2023, Angela became the Program Director of Megan’s House. She is continuing to further her education and is committed to working with the Megan’s House Foundation to expand services for young women with substance use disorders.

High School Sports

The Sudbury native spent time in prison, experienced homelessness and attended several detox and rehabilitation programs across Massachusetts, none of which seemed to worked. Trying very hard to avoid temptation to go drink or do whatever I can find. Tanya very much enjoys being in a supportive role and combines her creative problem solving and organization skills with everything-is-possible attitude to support our Executive Director and The Megan House Foundation. Just some of these include the Bike Connector, Merrimack Valley Food Bank, The Wish Project, Catholic Charities, The Kristy Williams Memorial Foundation, and Toys for Local Children.

While at UAM, Sue was an officer in their Corporate Development Group and a member their Operations Team. Sue received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, magna cum laude, from Merrimack College. As a seasoned educator, coach and marketing executive, Ms. Coimbra brings with her an understanding and background of youth in our community. Ms. Coimbra graduated from Bradford College as senior class president, is completing an additional graduate degree in education and teaches fifth grade at the Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsboro, MA.
